Just as we did last year, Donna and Bonnie (the Book Buddies) will be selling books tomorrow during the annual St. Elmo neighborhood yard sale. This sign is the small one that hung beside the back entrance of our (former) bookstore. It's already out in front of my house because BOOKS are the big deal, most of them this year for only a quarter. Luckily, I have a covered front porch for the books, in case it rains.

Gosh, I wish I'd known this was coming. I'd be hitting the road. LOL
Going through Mississippi and across Alabama to reach Tennessee would be a long way to come for a yard sale, but come on up! I'll push Kiki off the sofa or let you sleep in her snuggly spot in the corner of the closet. Heck, I'll even give you the bed and go sleep beside Kiki myself! LOL

We'll be finishing up the office flooring, this weekend, but I wish you luck with your yard sale. How far are you from Nashville? We have a wedding there, this summer, ya know (eldest).
It's about two hours from Nashville to Chattanooga, with beautiful mountain scenery along the way. Come see me, if you get the chance.
I knew about the wedding there and wondered about Memphis. Has he moved?
I just ran across this post again, and (out of curiosity) clicked on the link to the neighborhood map, thinking it was probably long gone. Nope! There it is, dead center but a little above halfway up. Running the cursor across it showed "Book Buddies" with my former address. Ha!
