The TBR 21 in '21 challenge

The goal is to read 21 books from my TBR shelves in 2021.  I can do that easily, I think.  I'll list books here as I read them:
  1. Plan B: Further Thoughts on Faith ~ by Anne Lamott, 2005, memoir, 7/10
  2. Pastrix: The Cranky, Beautiful Faith of a Sinner and Saint ~ by Nadia Bolz-Weber, 2013, memoir, 8/10
Here's the sign-up page, if you are interested.  No, it isn't too late, if you think you can read 21 books you already own.  I'm doing it, you know.  And here's the page to post your reviews after you've read each book.

Well, folks, I totally forgot about this challenge after completing only two books.  I discovered it because I've been doing the TBR 22 in '22 Challenge.

Every year I have grand plans to read from my TBR shelves and every year I buy more books and count them as coming off the TBR shelf. Well, technically they do, they just haven't always been there that long.

The two books I've already put there have been on my literal, physical bookshelves for years. The other three I have completed so far this year didn't make it onto the list because I put them on my Kindle in 2021. So I'm being honest here. I'll have enough books read that those I've bought (or gotten from the library) this year won't be needed to make the count to a mere 21. My Mount TBR challenge fell by the wayside during 2020, when I hoped to read 48. Oh, my! I just looked back as my challenge page and see that I stopped adding to that TBR challenge list at exactly 21 books. LOL.
