Saturday Snapshot ~ storm damage

My first snapshot contribution to this meme is from the many I took in my neighborhood this week, after tornados hit our area.
The yellow house at the other end of this path of destruction was featured here on Thursday.  In today's photo, you can see the tree sticking out of the right side of the building.  Click on photo to enlarge it.

This meme is hosted by Alyce @ At Home With Books.
Links to today's photos are here.

The damage is sad and horrible, but your photo of it is stunning. I just went back to look at your other posts with photos of the tornado damage - so glad you are okay.

Oh my goodness - it's just amazing, isn't it?

Oh wow! Those trees look like they just snapped.

The destruction is just scary and crazy!

Despite the fact that there is damage here from the tornado, the scene here looks so tranquil, probably due to the lightening. It's a beautiful picture.

I took the photos the day after the storm, and it was a beautiful day. If you click to enlarge, then click again, the photo gets really big and you'll be able to see where at least one of the downed trees snapped off. I was on the street behind the yellow house when I took this picture.

Bonnie - it was nice to meet you at Krystal Thursday evening while we were all charging our electronics! Thanks for sharing your perspective and photos about these past few days. I'm so thankful now for our power returning last night! Maybe I'll see you again someday.

Thanks, Alyce and Sharon, for your concern.

Cheryl, nice to meet you, too. We were fortunate to find a place with wi-fi (and a plug) without having to go across town. (I met another Cheryl at the Panera at Northgate on Friday evening. Her husband used "my" plug after I unplugged my laptop.)

This was so awful. I hurt for all people who were in the wake of that storm.

Nice photos, by the way.
