I look forward to seeing what you think of Whale Rider as a book (did you see the movie?). I haven't heard of a lot of the books on your list this week

Helen, I rarely watch movies or television, but I rate Whale Rider a 9/10, an excellent book. Kiki, who plans to review My Cat, the Silliest Cat in the World on Caturday, agrees with me that it is a 10/10, which means I loved it and couldn't put it down! (Yes, I know that's true of most children's picture books because of the length, so let's just say, "Loved it!!!!!")

MY BOOK RATING GUIDE

10 - Loved it!! Couldn't put it down!!
9 - Excellent!
8 - Very Good
7 - Good
6 - Above Average
5 - Average

Anything lower: Nah
