Looking around

Donna's view out the window from her bed at the nursing home.

Looking straight out her window to the inner courtyard.

Welcome sign on her door when she arrived yesterday.

She enjoyed the butterscotch pudding that came with her meal.

I think I missed where you said that Donna has moved away from where you live! I am afraid this means she isn't doing well. I feel like I know Donna from reading your blog all these years and am invested in your friendship with her. I hope that doesn't seem silly.

Thank you, Helen. You didn't miss anything. I didn't post that Donna was in the hospital for three weeks, then sent by ambulance to a nursing home two days ago. This post is, in effect, my way of saying she is NOT doing well at all and is not strong enough to come back here to independent living. I'll be helping her sister move her things out of her apartment here. Donna and I have been friends since the mid-1990s, a quarter of a century. Thank you for caring.
