A First for Me
Apparently other people do this all the time, but it's something I'd never done before. I went shopping for shoes for someone else, not knowing exactly what she would like. So I took this photo of two pairs of shoes that looked comfortable to me, and I sent it to her, with no accompanying words. "Blue," she texted back. And these blue shoes, the very ones in this picture, are now in her possession. The new way to shop, I guess. It worked for us.

I like that you shopped via photo/text! So much easier than buying, discovering they aren't right, returning, etc.
What I did NOT add to the blog story was that I'd already gotten her a GRAY pair when I couldn't reach her by phone while I was shopping two or three days earlier. I had just returned the unwanted pair, so I let her "look at" what I could see was available in her size. You are so right that this way is much, much better!
