Have you hugged your cat today?

When I posted last week's Caturday post (entitled Catty remarks), Deb commented:

"Today is, I think, Hug a Cat Day!"

I looked it up and found Hug a Cat Day (what she said) and a National Hug Your Cat Day, celebrated on June 4th — which is today.  I also found there's a Respect Your Cat Day (on March 28th), a National Respect Your Cat Day, and an International Respect Your Cat Day.  I say, respecting our feline friends means we should let cats decide for themselves when they want to be hugged — and when they just want to be left alone.

Clawdia is my BFF (Best Furry Friend) and a very beloved purr-son.
