I love my online friends.
The problem is that we don't have any lines I can see from the windows in my room.
Donna laughed one day because a whole bunch of black birds came to the feeder, and the squirrel stayed away.

Kiki, honey, you need to get up and look out of more than one window. ;)
Hi Bookfool. I would like to look out Sammy's window, but I'd be in trouble. I can't go in her room, and she can't go in my room, and when we do, we get chased out. My bedroom has windows facing in two directions, but I can't see Sammy's birdfeeder from either of them.
I especially like to look out the window on the door to the patio because that one comes all the way down to my level. Sometimes Bonnie and I go outside so I can check the grass and smell all the interesting smells.
Birds don't come on our patio, which is beside the sidewalk going into the apartment building. So see? I still need a birdfeeder near MY window.

Kiki got her bird feeder for her 12th birthday yesterday (April 20, 2012), and its two hangers supply birds with seeds and suet. It's outside her bedroom window, waiting for the birds to find it. Here's her birthday post:
