Have you started reading the Handmaid and the carpenter yet. Strikes me as a story that has been done to death, and one that could also offend the religious.
You are going Elizabeth Berg crazy! I have only read one of her books and I quite liked it. Have a great weekend of reading
Sean, I don't get easily offended, and I find it interesting to see how others think of biblical stories. Berg starts that book by saying the stories in the Bible are poetry, which can be interpreted. It was an interesting book, though a few things Berg did with the story let me know she isn't a biblical scholar.
Helen, which of her books did you read?
