Sunday Salon ~ hopeful beginning

The new year begins, so it's time to start my independent study of Jürgen Moltmann's writings.  I'll post reports in my Mondays with Moltmann posts.  I hope I manage to do that every week.  I've already started reading his autobiography.

Books in progress:
  • A Broad Place: An Autobiography ~ by  Jürgen Moltmann, 2007
  • The Indigo Children: The New Kids Have Arrived ~ by Lee Carroll and Jan Tober, 1999
Next up:
  • Jürgen Moltmann: Collected Readings ~ ed. by Margaret Kohl, 2014
Bloggers gather in the Sunday Salon — at separate computers in different time zones — to talk about our lives and our reading.

It sounds like an interesting resolution for the year.

Good luck with your challenge! I haven't done a book challenge since 2011! But, this year I am going to read all the YA winners. So, now I just have to wait until they are announced later this month.

I love the new blog photo/header!

Now that you've read (and commented) on a couple of other posts, you know the blog photo/header is my family at Christmas. I found it on Facebook and added it to my Thursday Thirteen post because it won't stay at the top of my blog forever. Here's where I "put" it: https://bonniesbooks.blogspot.com/2016/12/an-unpresidented-year-shock-after-shock.html

In it are my three children and their spouses, my seven grandchildren (and spouses of the two who are married), and my six grandchildren. (Plus their stepmother and her son with his wife and two children.) That's 26 people!
