"Friends, like flowers, give pleasure by being there." As I was going through boxes of books, I came across an old plaque of mine that had that on it. While looking for an illustration, I couldn't find the exact quote online, but I did find this one (with flowers, even) that speaks of gratitude and joy. My favorite word — JOY.

Thank you for the reminder! I was so cognizant of this week when I was a librarian and now it surprises me each year. I am going to go right now and choose my banned book to read this week.
