Woman caught reading ~ 1941

An English woman wearing a Women’s Auxiliary Air Force uniform was caught reading a magazine with her gas mask beside her.  She was in London, September 1941  The photographer was David E. Scherman.  Thanks, Claire @ The Captive Reader.

It may be, Helen. I don't know London, and this was taken 70 years ago.

I love this photo! Wouldn't it be great to have hanging in a library or study?
