Have you heard about the NEW seven wonders of the world? The pyramids are the only wonder remaining from the original seven, and now we are invited to vote for a NEW set of seven, HERE. Now let's play a trivia game:
You might enjoy reading this which lists 7 ancient wonders, 7 middle ages wonders and 7 modern wonders, underwater wonders, natural wonders, etc. I can't decide between the wonders we can vote for. I like Stonehenge, the Colosseum, and a few others. I hate the Eiffel Tower! I mean, I love it from afar, but I never want to get within a few blocks of it because large crowds are scary and it's so tacky and touristy in that whole area.
Old ones I remember off the top of my head . . . the Hanging Gardens of Babylon and the Colossus of Rhodes. I love Stonehenge. And, I'd say Hadrian's Wall is quite a wonder.
I have always marveled at how Machu Picchu was created at the top of the Andes, and the Great Wall of China is the only man-made structure visible from space. The beauty of the Taj Mahal is impressive, but so is the love behind it.

What if you know them all... I'll pretend that I don't and just say The Lighthouse of Alexandria...
I think Stonhenge should be one of the new wonders.

I never understood why I didn't know most of the 7 world wonders. I guess it was time for a new list. I know more of the new ones.
I once wrote a poem about the 8th world wonder (it was a love poem).

The Hanging Gardens of Babylon and the Lighthouse of Alexandria are the only 2 I remember!
I'd love to see the Taj Mahal on the list. Especially after reading Beneath a Marble Sky!
