No apartment — no house I've ever seen — is big enough for the two of us. On the other hand, Sammy will bring Donna with her, and maybe Donna will give me treats.
I'll have to think about this.

By the way, Bonnie calls this picture "first things first." But I don't see what's so important about books and boxes of books — the first and most important thing, of course, is cat food. And I don't see any of my food there. 'Nuff said.

Moving? One of my least favorite things to do and you're doing it in the heat. I hope you have friends/family/a company to help you! What instigated the move?
I thought you enjoyed living by yourself. Why the move?
The burglary started it, since someone was in my house while I was asleep:

Then I learned that most of my neighbors knew the son of the woman next door to me is currently out of jail for something similar. Supposedly, she made him leave, though I don't know the circumstances and don't know if it will last. My laptop is still gone, and even though I have deadbolts now, I do like living, whether alone or with a roommate. So we are moving closer to my children -- across town, in other words. My kids and grandkids and friends are helping me pack and moving our furniture and boxes. We'll have a nicer place, including a pool, if you want to come visit. That's a real invitation.
