A hiker comes through Chattanooga

(This photo was taken by Susan of Patchwork Reflections)

Susan at Patchwork Reflections wrote about Sue Turner hiking a trail through Chattanooga. I'm picking up on it because I want to share the pictures of my area on the American Hiking site. This picture was taken from Point Park on Lookout Mountain, exactly opposite the photo on the sidebar that looks toward that point of the mountain.

Those are great photos, I am glad you are also posting the link, so more folks can see them. I especially like the one of her at Sunset Rock. You have a beautiful city!

Thanks, Susan, especially for telling me about Sue in the first place!

Hi Bonnie,
When I first started blogging in March of 2005 I was on blogger for about a week and my site looked exactly like this one. My friend Doug switched me to Moveable Type, which isn't as user friendly, but was more reliable at the time. Blogger has gotten much better now I've heard. I'd be happy to be anywhere, I just don't know how to move a big clunky blog and from I'm learning it isn't that easy! All the Hal hub bub has died down now. All is well, I hope.

That photo does have a tense sort of beauty.

I got the photo from Susan's story about the hiker, but I don't know if Susan took the picture or found it. Lots of photos look very similar, taken from behind that same cannon. Susan, did you take this photo?
