Hey! I knew that Stephanie and Margreet had got blogs, but was not aware that you had one. Anyways, of your list, I have only read 20 or thereabouts. There are a lot of others that are on my tbr pile, though.
Wow Bonnie...awesome list!! I've read even less on this one. 11, I think was the total. I love Jodi Picoult, but I've only read 2 on your list. Have you read Plain Truth? I think it's one of her best.
On another note, I've been working with my friends from East Tennesse. I think we are all going on vacation together this year. Will probably be going to Florida again. This time, I think I can actually talk Mike into a night in Chattanooga! Maybe we can have another dinner?? Mike would be honored to join us this time! He want to show Donna his new COEXIST tattoo!
Yes, Stephanie, I've read all of Jodi Picoult's except the last one published (another is coming out soon, very soon, like tomorrow March 6th). The only reason I haven't read The Tenth Circle is that we are planning to read it in the Essencia Island group and I am trying very hard not to read it too soon. I took Plain Truth off the list when I added something else. By the way, I've read all 100 of these books I listed.
I've only read about 10 of those - even worse than the other list. You've listed several by some authors I don't really like (so far), like Jodi Picoult. Not a Picoult fan, but I think I've chosen badly. The Tenth Circle and Harvesting the Heart are the two I read. I still want to read My Sister's Keeper and so far the buzz on the new book is all positive.
In contrast, I've read everything by Jack Finney that I can get my hands on. Very interesting list! I've got to come up with my own, sometime. I enjoyed reading this one!
I count 23 I've read from your list! Hmmm, I'm pleased with myself now..lol. I read all the Steinbecks you mention. "Ireland, a novel" by Frank Delaney is on my TBR list. And so is the Avalon series by Marion Zimmer Bradley.
I read the "Cave Bear" series many years ago from the library.
These lists are fun!!
Bookfool, I listed among the 100 books those of Jodi Picoult's that I liked best, and Harvesting of the Heart and Plain Truth were not among my favorites. Try reading My Sister's Keeper, my favorite, or Songs of the Humpback Whale, my second favorite.
Hi Bonnie, what a great list! I counted 35 that I have read and quite a few that I must get and put in my pile :-)
