Today is International Cat Day
Clawdia at her window, and Kiki kissing me. They are my most recent cats, so I have photos of them online (and on the sidebar to the right). I'm also celebrating Duchess, the gray cat I rescued from a mud puddle when she was a kitten and I was only nine years old. And then there's Jack, the gray and white cat who lived on the mountain with us. I don't have a photo of him to share. Sorry. If you have (or ever had) a cat, please share a name or something about your cat in the comments.

International Cat Day
I almost missed it. When I got online this morning, I saw that it is International Cat Day. Okay, I've got this, even if I don't have a cat living with me these days.

Cats are having their day today
Today is International Cat Day. More than 25% of households have a pet cat. Some cats might seem aloof, but these furry felines are often loving and affectionate companions. What better way to honor them than with a special day? Most of them think every day should be about them, so today's a good day for us to do it.
