Charles Schulz died on today's date in 2000. I started 2023 with a look at Lucy in her psychiatric booth, HERE. Lucy ranting (p. 24) is my favorite strip in The Joy of a Peanuts Christmas by Charles Schulz (2000, 120 pages, 10/10).
The phrase "another think coming" means to be greatly mistaken. I was reading a book when I came across this phrase (p. 24), and I compared it to the same words on a page BEFORE the title page. In the book are the words "if Aunt Janet thought this would discourage Sara, she had another think coming," but the same page with the same paragraphs placed before the title page has the words "another thing coming." Do you see the discrepancy? To be logical, the sentence about Aunt Janet's thinking needs the word "think," not "thing." I know someone will wonder what book it was: The Story Girl Earns Her Name by Gail Hamilton (1991, YA fiction, 117 pages, 8/10).

My aunt, more a friend than just a relative, loves Peanuts, so we shared a lot of cartoons together when I was growing up. I love this one. Gosh, don't we all know a Lucy? And a Charlie Brown? And al the rest of the crew?
During my early twenties, I read almost nothing except science fiction. Ray Bradbury was a big favorite. In fact, on our first date, my (future) husband and I discovered we were reading the same Ray Bradbury book!
Ray Bradbury's stuff is good though I haven't read any of the stories in that collection. I hope you enjoy them!
