noun = (derogatory) a person opposed to new technology or ways of working. Example: "When I tried to explain that I could send one of my neighbors a link to my blog, he called himself a luddite and said he couldn't understand technical stuff. Though I knew the meaning of that word, I had never, ever heard it spoken by anyone.
A cartoon in a 2019 issue of The New York Times showed a character carrying a sign that says, "The internet is a fad." It illustrated an opinion piece entitled: "Luddites Shall Inherit the Earth."
