Groundhog Day is a popular tradition observed in the United States and Canada on February 2nd, to celebrate whether or not a groundhog sees his shadow after he emerges from his burrow. Why? Punxsutawney Phil predicts the arrival of spring — or not. Today, Phil did see his shadow. I hate to tell you, but that means we have another six weeks of winter. It's a sunny day here in St. Louis, though it's just 35° now and only going up to 38° this afternoon. In the meantime.....
Masks are everywhere!
Ben's wearing a mask.
So is George.
Even the emojis have their masks on!!!!
Masks are everywhere — as they should be. We are now being told to DOUBLE mask, so when I go across the street to pick up my prescription from Walgreen's (when the day is the warmest it's predicted to be), I'll be wearing a cloth mask over a paper mask. Stay safe, people, and wear your masks.
Double-masking is an excellent idea. Let's all do whatever we can to stay safe.
