Caturday ~ a poem by Scooter

Scooter is Susan Beth Pfeffer's cat.  In this photo, he is reading the first in her trilogy of Moon books:  Life As We Knew It, The Dead and the Gone, and This World We Live In.  Anyway, Scooter recently wrote a poem that is purr-fect for a Caturday post.
Rubies are red
Emeralds are green
If I don't get fed
I'll eat your spleen.
I must say, it sounds very cat-like.  Kiki would never say that to me, though, would you, Kiki?

Kiki?

Oh, sorry, she's busy eating.  I guess that saved my spleen, huh?
