Weighing my words

August 2009, in part of my library

September 2009, in my kitchen

May 2011, in the park

"If I must weigh my words and be careful what I say to you, then what you hear will not be completely true —  or completely me."  This idea came from reading Ronna Detrick's Lesson's (un)learned yesterday.

Will the real Bonnie Jacobs please stand up?  Me, myself, and I were all standing up — in every one of these photos.

  1. Wow. This says so well what I have been thinking lately. Yet, I remain unsure how much I can say, how bold I can be.

Thanks for your visit to my blog and your thoughtful comments. I really appreciate it.

  3. Your posts are so clever! That's a great quote, by the way. I just re-watched The King's Speech last night and love the part where he says he has a voice.

  4. Helen, maybe I shouldn't have put it in quotes, since it's a combination of a summary of what Ronna said and my own musing afterwards. So that's actually a quote from ME.

Thanks, Madge. I'm also feeling terrific.

Wendy, I appreciate your thoughtful posts, which is why I continued to read your blog yesterday after my first comment. I always love finding people who think and ponder the world around us.
