Self-Care September

We've had Happy January, Friendly February, Mindful March, Active April, Meaningful May, Joyful June, Jump Back July, and Altruistic August.  Now it's time for Self-Care September, found by searching for "calendar" on the Action for Happiness (AfH) web site. Here are the first seven days of this new month.

September 1
~ Recognize that self-care isn't selfish.  It's essential.
September 2
~ Talk to yourself like you would to someone you love.
September 3
~ Free up time in your diary by cancelling any unnecessary plans.
September 4
~ Forgive yourself when things go wrong.  We all make mistakes.
September 5
~ Notice what you are feeling today, without any judgment.
September 6
~ Avoid saying "I ought to" or "I should" to yourself.
September 7
~ Remember it's okay not to be okay.  We all have difficult days.
