At 11:11 on 11/11, I was downloading Scrivener, "a powerful content-generation tool for writers that allows you to concentrate on composing and structuring long and difficult documents. While it gives you complete control of the formatting, its focus is on helping you get to the end of that awkward first draft."

I know! How cool is today?! My cousin's baby was born today so will have an awesome birthdate forever.

I heard about Scrivener for the first time just yesterday. I'll be interested in finding out what you think. How goes NaNoWriMo?

Helen, interesting birthday, huh?

Alison, Scrivener just yesterday published a version for Windows (which I have). Originally, it was developed for Mac. It's free for 30 day -- actual days of use -- before we have to decide whether to pay $40 for it.

NaNoWriMo got bogged down for me this year, so I stopped and have started in another direction. Or I could combine them. Maybe Scrivener will help me sort it out.
