24-hour Read-a-Thon is TODAY

Today's the day!
Hurray, hurray!

And I'm a cheerleader! The official start time is 2:00 p.m. GMT, which is 10:00 a.m. EDT, where I am. Keep up with the action. Dewey will be updating us on a regular basis about what's going on, how many pages have been read, who has won which prize, and lots of other stuff. Take a look here:
(On your mark!) Get set!

Oh Bonnie, you are so organized! I can see already that you're going to be a treasure for me this day! Next year, would you think about being co-organizer?

Ah, my dear, are you asking because you think I need something more to do? I'll think about it and let you know.

Not because you need something more to do but because I think I'll need help next time!

Bonnie -- thank you for your poem entry!

I posted this comment/update on my blog today:

Only 4 hours remain to get entries in! So far I’ve received entries from Becky, Margaret, and Bonnie. Callista had expressed interest as well. So, I’ll wait out the 12M deadline and post all poems tomorrow.

We’ll let users vote on the best. It’s too hard for me to decide!

Be sure to send your readers up to vote after it's up!
